Automation Engineer (Robotic)

We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Automation Engineer (Robotic) to join a growing team for a global leading automotive manufacturer!

• Team size: 30-40 people
• Location: Perak

the role

• Develop and program robotic systems to achieve maximum productivity with minimal waste and ensure consistent, precise coverage.
• Ensure automated processes deliver a uniform, high-quality finish that meets or exceeds customer and industry standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems to ensure minimal production downtime and operational disruptions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations to protect workers and the environment.
• Implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance painting quality, efficiency, and throughput while reducing costs.
• Collaborate with teams: Work closely with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and design teams to align robotic operations with broader manufacturing goals.

the experience

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with robotic systems, specifically in manufacturing industry.
